Update from Jim in Wausau

Well, here is an update from Jim in Wausau. I guess the judging for the club competition was to take place last weekend but it is postponed until this coming weekend (April 19th) along with the BJCP sanctioned competition. Here is Jim's note posted on the DUFF Brew Club Group page:

Well, got the beers up to Wausau with no problems. Even had time
to stop in at the Point Brewing Supply homebrew store. Talked with
Travis and some of the member of the club up there. All really nice
guys.
Only problem was, one of their judges for the club event wasn't
going to make it. We went back to the Hereford And Hops on Sunday to
see if they were going to have the judging then, but it wasn't going
to happen. The plan is to have the judging take place next Saturday,
on the 19th along with the rest of the competition.
When we left the Hereford And Hops on Saturday, the members of
the club gave us directions to a new brewery in Wausau. The Bull
Falls Brewery. We went to it, as they have a tasting room set up.
They pretty much serve you beer as in a brew pub. No food on service,
but plenty of shelled peanuts. You will need to check it out when you
go up there. They have their beer on tap in various bars through
Wausau.
I will see what happens this next week at work. I would like to
go back up there, as I didn't get to see how the judging goes or
anything.
