Friday DUFF meeting

Greetings DUFF Club members

The March meeting (can you believe it's March already?) is this coming this Friday at Beezers in Hillsboro. March 4th, 2011, at 6:00 pm.

For most of us, coming from the east, you follow hyway 33 toward Hillsboro and before you even get to town, you'll see a Subway sandwich shop on the right. Beezers is right behind the Subway, and you take the next driveway after Subway or you can actually drive through the Subway parking lot to get in. See attached photo of the huge bar and outside of the hotel.

We have a few posters up around Hillsboro and there are 3 or 4 new couples from the Hillsboro area possibly attending, so a good showing from our regular members is important. We have a great conference room reserved for the meeting and we will be able to order food from the grill.

Let's come prepared to plan our first DUFF club quarterly beer kits. We've talked about a Cream Ale or Wheat beer, let's narrow that down to one and do it! We can also begin deciding on a beer style for the Big Brew coming up in just 60-some days, May 7th. This will be a great time for new brewers to get started so spread the word.

See you all on Friday and if possible, let's get a head count of how many might attend so we can let Beezers know how many to expect. Joe says they might want to put an extra wait-staff on but usually that wouldn't be needed. The room is plenty big though and will easily seat 50 so don't be afraid to invite a friend to this meeting.
