March DUFF meeting

Greetings DUFF Club Members

 

The March meeting will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2009, at the home of Mel and Sandy Smith - 6:00pm. Kids, spouses, friends, new or ‘old’ brewers are all welcome. Meet Puff, the puppy and check out my brewing stuff.

 

In addition to beer & wine tasting (bring samples) and club discussions….

 

Pepsi Kegs will be here ready for pick up for those that ordered them.... and there are a few extra, I think, that are unspoken for. If anyone wants more, get hold of Clint.

 

The ‘Monster Mash’ barrel will be here to look at and evaluate. Suggestions are welcome /sought before we finish and test it – I’ll probably try a batch before the first big Mash in April? May? June? I forget? But I think it’ll work! I also have the dairy coolers and it should be light out with daylight savings time in effect, if anyone wants to see those.

 

We are planning a light lunch for a dozen or so in the basement on the order of BBQ, potato salad, beans, chips, and jell-o.

 

From Reedsburg, it’s about:

·        4 miles south of town on highway 23

·        Right (west) on County Road S for 8 miles

·        House on Right at the intersection of County S and 3 culvert Road.

·         Blue Fire # sign E3698 - Grey ranch style house with Black roof and Black window shutters and wooden deck on front of house.

 

From La Valle:

·        Highway 58 south through Ironton and about a mile past Ironton to highway G turn off to the left (south) toward Lime Ridge.

·        Follow G south for about 5 miles to Lime Ridge.

·        In Lime Ridge, left on County Road S (east) for two miles

·        House on Left at the intersection of County S and 3 culvert Road.

·         Blue Fire # sign E3698 - Grey ranch style house with Black roof and Black window shutters and wooden deck on front of house.
