September DUFF Meeting tomorrow, change of location.

The September meeting of the DUFF Homebrew Club will be held tomorrow at The Home of Mel and Sandy Smith. Not at the Country Inn in Mauston.

From Reedsburg, it is approximately 3 miles south on Highway. 23, right 8 miles on country road S to the farm. Grey ranch house with black shutters directly across from Three Culvert Road intersection.

 

Time is Tuesday, September 9^th, 2008 from 6:00 pm. till 8:00 pm. but anyone is welcome to come early or stay late.

 

Simple meal provided: Snacks, potato salad, beans, brats, and hotdogs will be provided.

 

Beer: Don’t worry about bringing sample of homebrew if you don’t have any, we will have some craft beers to try. If you have homebrew, by all means bring some, but don’t let not having any samples keep you from this meeting.

 

Meeting agenda:

·         Enjoy a fall bonfire with some beer cooking on the side in a quiet peaceful valley.

·         Maybe discuss where the DUFF Club has been and where we are going as a club.

·         Destroy a couple of computers just for fun! Find the rare-earth magnets in the hard-drives.

·         Give away some hops! I have some of last years Cascade and a new crop on the way.

·         Talk about California Common and sample some more Anchor Steam Beer as we think about brewing and winning the spring competition in Wausau.

 

If you cannot attend the meeting, you can still stay up to date and participate on-line by joining the DUFF Brew Club Group (it’s free!) or read the Duff Brew Club Blog (it’s free and worth every penny you paid for it!) Be sure to log on to the group and read Clint’s announcement about the new baby! It’s awesome news but I’ll let Clint tell it.
