DUFF Web Site

Dear DUFF member

 

This note is in regard to a DUFF club web site.

 

Greetings to all members of the DUFF homebrew club, for those that were at the last meeting, you may remember that we talked a little about setting up a web-site for the DUFF club. Jason Van Pee was looking into that project, but he is now contemplating relocating to the Green Bay area in the coming months and has indicated that although he will help where he can, perhaps someone else should be appointed for this task. In addition, Jason will be in Kentucky and not able to attend the March DUFF meeting.

 

Until we can find someone to set up a web site, I suggest we utilize some free web resource by Google that will provide an internet presence, enable group communication, on-line recipe sharing, and discussions among members.

 

Free web site option

 

I have opened a Google Blog and a Google Group. They each allow Free discussions and photos to be posted by members along with some other features. If you have time before the next meeting, please visit one or both of these web sites, become a member of the blog and/or group, and test them out a little with a post or comment. I think these sites can get us by ‘for free’ until someone is able to build and maintain something better. I’ve posted a few things as examples.
